WOOOFFFF What A DAY!

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!

What a Long Strange Trip It Was!!

Here is Sue with Boat Mountain's Amazing Miss Miracle!

And EVEN Sue West attended our party! Without her help, these pups would never have made it to Wisconsin

Miracle,.. in her safe spot!!!
A note from Sue,..
This day was very special,... actually seeing these beautiful little bird dogs, in all their young glory,.. healthy, happy, ....and safe,..
Their beginning was not so happy,..
their original owner passed away, and their fate fell into the hands of relatives,...who did not see the beauty in these pups and their momma and dumped them all in a very high kill shelter in North Carolina,..
they were all to be euthanized in an over crowded shelter,...what a waste that would have been,....
Once pulled from the shelter we had a volunteer transport all ready and waiting, to bring these babies north,... then they all came down with Parvo, and upper respitory disease, we had to wait another month untill they were well enough to travel,..and then finally they made it home!!
Thanks to the overwhelming dedication and determination of
Wisconsin Germanshorthaired Rescue,..
Not only did I get to meet the pups, but the fine folks who made it all happen!
I love them all!
Sincerely, Susan
Transport Coordinator

"Sprinkles" Sleeping,.. What An Angel!!

She is doing good. She is getting big.

Kevin weighted her and she is up to 31 lbs.

We are putting in a fence so she has some room to run, and so the 2 year old stops taking off.

Over all she is a good girl, we need to work on the jumping up on people. Sprinkles likes to sit and watch the birds, I think it is cool to watch her point.

Mesha is HOME!

We just wanted to let you know that Mesha is doing great!!!! It took a little time for her new sister to warm up to her, but now they are the best of friends or as I call them partners in crime.lol

Not only does she point out birds she points out gophers too as you can see in the picture.

We took her out on the water for the first time on opening day and she really enjoyed it. The hardest part was keeping her inside the boat.

Mesha is in dog training classes(best dog in the class) and doing very well. We are still working on her coming back when we call for her and not when she's ready.

We've also been working on her respecting the boundaries of our farm, but having a few problems.

We fenced in about 2 acres of land and made it a dog play park until we feel safe having her run totally free.

Mesha is having the time of her life running and chasing critters. No birds yet, but that is not for a lack of trying.

We also found out that she loves asparagus. Can you believe she ate the whole patch that grows wild in our yard.

Thank you again Lisa for allowing Mesha to be part of our family she has certainly brought a lot of joy to our home.

We will keep you posted on how Mesha is doing and will send pictures often. Take care!!!!
